A release spell for whatever you're ready to set down — a grudge, a bad week, a habit that's overstayed its welcome.
Pair the words with an action — tidying a space, washing your hands, or one deliberate exhale as you say it.
This is the oldest trick in modern magic: naming what you're letting go of out loud, on purpose.
Light a white candle. Write down what you're releasing on a small piece of paper. Say your chant, then either safely burn the paper in a fireproof dish (away from anything flammable, never left unattended) or tear it up and throw it away.
Basic candle safety always applies: never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep it away from anything flammable.
Combine a chant with a short intention and closing line, and hear the whole thing read aloud.
